Ansonia Clock Co., C.1895, Royal Bonn, "LA TOURAINE" porcelain china cased clock, with 8-day, gong strike mov't with open escapement on porcelain dial, attractive "beige-pink" color with strong gold highlights.
CONDITION:
Retains fancy creamy porcelain dial with red decorations between the Roman numerals. Hands, pendulum and rear cover are original. Has large round movement with rack strike. Exceptional. See Tran Ly's book on Ansonia, page 592, this clock listed for $42 when new and is nearly impossible to find. Ht 11.8"
